Assistant Engineer - Electrical @ Aditya Birla Sun Life

Job Description

As a 3rd Grade employee at Birla Carbon in Tamil Nadu, India, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and monitoring of electrical systems within the plant. This includes overseeing the 110KV Switchyard, Power and Distribution transformers, plant TGs, DGs, Grid systems, panel boards, VFD and UPS systems, as well as troubleshooting motors and attending to fire alarm systems for safety. You will be expected to adhere to Electrical Safety standards, conduct LOTO (Lock out and Tag out) operations for energy isolation, and maintain records of all operations. It will also be part of your role to update shift operation records, power generation, export, and plant power consumption records, and report any breakdowns or issues to the Section Head and Department Head. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma in electrical engineering and have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience. You will report directly to the Assistant Manager and must be diligent in your duties to ensure the maximum availability of electrical equipment for plant operations.,
