As a Software Engineer-II Java Developer at our Bangalore location, your responsibilities will include: - Technical design and implementation of production-ready code, collaborating with the team - Staying updated with new technologies and industry trends - Participating in requirements gathering and documentation - Ensuring deliverables comply with architectural vision and business requirements - Following core engineering processes for code quality - Collaborating with QA and UI teams for service requirements and execution - Working closely with remote team members in the US office - Delivering quality shippable software as part of our Agile development team Qualifications and Skills Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development - Strong technical knowledge of enterprise J2EE and cloud applications - Proficiency in Java fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and database concepts - Experience in Agile Methodologies and SCRUM - Hands-on experience in microservices, Spring, Hibernate, and REST - Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes - Experience with ORACLE SQL & POSTGRESS database is a plus - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues quickly - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-directed, highly motivated, and a strong team player - Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies Candescent is an equal opportunity employer and does not accept resumes from agencies not on the preferred supplier list.
