As a key member of our team, your roles and responsibilities will include: - Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one functional module of the system or service. - Designing and ensuring quality ownership of the service as the SME. - Demonstrating a high Say/do ratio of > 95% in execution. - Conducting code reviews and maintaining quality standards for the SME area. - Assisting and mentoring junior team members. - Enforcing code reviews and test coverage protocols. - Ensuring no regressions in the modules under your ownership. - Participating in interview panels to contribute to organizational growth. Key skills required for this role include: - Over 7 years of overall experience in software engineering. - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails. - Strong understanding of front-end technologies and platforms like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Solid experience with web services. - Familiarity with JavaScript dependency management and build tools. - Experience working with MongoDB, Postgresql, and MySQL databases. - Comfortable in an environment that demands strong problem-solving skills, self-direction, team collaboration, and open communication. - Understanding of RESTful web services. - Ability to work in a dynamic, creative setting to develop innovative solutions that cater to evolving user needs. - Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for version control.
