Job Description
- You have the opportunity to join our team at Bluebash in Mohali, Punjab as a Ruby on Rails Developer with 1-4 years of experience. As a talented developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails (RoR). Working closely with our development team, you will participate in designing, building, and deploying scalable web solutions. Your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, integrating third-party APIs and services, ensuring application security and scalability, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in Ruby on Rails development. To excel in this role, you should have 1-4 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, experience in RESTful API design and development, proficiency in Git version control, knowledge of background jobs such as Sidekiq and Resque, understanding of TDD/BDD using RSpec or Minitest, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, good communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team. It would be advantageous if you have experience with React.js for frontend development, exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum environment, and previous experience in e-commerce, particularly with Spreecommerce Open Source.
