We are currently inviting applications for the position of Life Sciences Analytics Manager, Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in leading business intelligence and analytics projects for a life sciences account. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end business intelligence and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering business solutions on the analytics platform through end-to-end implementation, encompassing data security, governance, cataloging, preparation, automated testing, and data quality metrics. - Contributing to the development of high-performing platform/product DevOps agile teams. - Automating, optimizing, migrating, and enhancing existing solutions. Qualifications we are looking for: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields. - Extensive experience in AWS, Scala, Python, Spark, and PL/SQL within the life sciences analytics domain. - Relevant experience in the IT industry. - Hands-on experience in data engineering, covering data ingestion, preparation, curation, provisioning, automated testing, and quality checks. - Proficiency in Big Data, Analytics, Big Data cloud platforms, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses. - Strong understanding of RDBMS and Data Warehousing concepts. - Experience in writing code in Spark engine using Python, Scala, or Java. - Proficiency in AWS Services like Glue, CloudWatch, EMR, S3, SNS, SQS, Athena, Lambda, and Step functions. - Ability to perform data modeling, data analysis, and derive insights using various tools. - Experience in agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess impacts. - Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications: - Demonstrated personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and demanding situations. - Flexibility to adapt to various engagement types, working hours, environments, and locations. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
