Job Description
Role: Team Lead- Digital Testing, India Ops Centre, HyderabadReporting to: Education Head of Delivery, based in Cambridge.
Work Experience: 5+ Years
Place of Posting : Hyderabad
Salary: 5.0 Lac to 8.0 Lac PA
Position Summary:
Manage the testing and quality assurance of Education digital product, the conversion of PDFs to ePUB3 and the building of assessment questions, as undertaken by the Digital Testing team based in the India Operations Centre. Develop resource and capacity management of the team carrying out these activities. This position is overseen by the Education Head of Delivery, based in Cambridge.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage digital testing requirements for Global Education as assigned by Head of Delivery, Cambridge and branch colleagues as appropriate.
Hands-on with ePUB3 conversion for Global Education.
Build assessment content for Global Education as assigned by Head of Delivery, Cambridge and branch colleagues.
Work with the Head of Delivery, CLS and branch colleagues to ensure resource is in place to meet requirements.
Establishing and apply Education specific requirements, work with the other IOC Digital Testing and Quality Assurance teams to define and manage digital processes for Cambridge University Press products to provide documentation guidelines, workflow documents, etc.
Manage the allocation of work among the team, ensuring resource is appropriately assigned to meet schedule requirements.
Recruit, train and mentor new Digital staff in the IOC, as appropriate, ensuring this training is carried out in line with Press policy.
Participate in regular progress and project meetings.
Carry out digital testing and other projects as required in addition to the management of the team.
Desired EQ/ Experience and Skills:
Degree/ PG in Publishing/ English with 4+ year experience in Digital testing and content proofing in Education Publishing.
Strong knowledge of and ability to abide by all Press policies and procedures.
Highly organized with ability to prioritize and lead a team and to manage competing work streams with challenging deadlines and perform under pressure.
An effective communicator with ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external companies.
Approachable with a can-do attitude.
