Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leverage IT and Technology to drive productivity, transparency and collaboration for Plant Manufacturing, Marketing Application, Costing Application, Customer Centricity and Application Security System.
- Anchor the Unit effort to leverage Digitization to improve overall Unit performance, especially yield, throughput and working capital (though better planning/transparency of stock)
- Leverage IT and Technology for Advance Planning System (APS), Data Warehousing across the business.
- Manage and continuously improve the IT Enterprise Infrastructure i.e. Oracle Database and Application Server to ensure these remain contemporary.
- Exploration, evaluation of latest information technology and continuous value addition and change management due to fast obsolescence and technology upgradation.
- Collaborate and facilitate with functions & Units to understand their requirements and facilitate operations through system upgradation / introduction of new technology (as required).
- Manage 24x7 basis availability of on-line business applications and IT services by managing and monitoring Oracle database server & Application server at DC & DR.
- Manage Service level agreement with 3P AMC vendors to achieve agreed uptime of servers
- Manage Application security compliance in business application to avoid any critical incidence that may impact business data / value.
- Manage, Monitor and administer Windows, UNIX Servers.
- Manage to provide problem solving through innovation, exploration and R&D as highest Level of Escalation
- Manage & build Relationship with Third Parties, Vendors and contract persons to value add IT Services.
- Explore of new & innovative IT solutions to support business growth.
