A leading mid size IT company in Kerala is looking for the position of IT head
Min 15 yrs exp in similar field required
Candidate should be a native of Kerala.
Group Head IT
About the Position
Responsible for all the IT operations across the group. Candidate should have either have handled the IT portfolio of the institution where worked either independently or assigned with key functional areas.
Preferred Academic Qualification
- The candidate should have a B-Tech in IT /MCA qualification.
Experience Criteria
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing IT Team of a mid-size company or a group of companies.
KFA
- Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure.
- Should have worked experience in SDLC.
- Coordinating with IT Infrastructure team for all the Server /DC related issues
- Coordinating with Network team for all the network related issues
- Capacity Management
- Oversees IT Operations (Helpdesk, Network and Security)
- Assesses need for new equipment and software.
- Recruitment and Training of new IT resources
- Conducting IT induction for new joiners.
- SOP creation on various new process and procedures
- Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires
- Skilled leader with the ability to develop teamwork and achieve superior results.
- For repetitive incidents creating KEDB (Known Error Data Base) and reference documents.
- Resolve technical issues by escalating when the restoration is beyond the peer level control
- IT Budgeting, KPI Goal Setting and Training for new IT staffs.
- Plan and implement project roll outs like technical software/hardware upgrades.
- Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.
- Any other issues as cropped up from time to time
