Job Description
- Ensure Efficient functioning of Stores operation and day to day activities. Process Control of stores & MIS. Item codification for both material, service items and coordinating with third party vendor, internal customer within the plan for Stores and other Service Department. Safe working environment during volumes of material handling. Coordination with internal & external stakeholders & agencies to strengthen materials management function and enhance customer satisfaction index. There is space related concern to store materials in the inventory and at the time of monsoon season and shut down the problem increases making it difficult to provide complete storage facilities and support. Shortage of manpower to handle sections separately i.e. receipt, inspection, issue, inventory and scrap. There is no utilization of slow and non-moving items resulting in blockage of inventory, cashflow and space. Handling Shutdown activities safely and ensuring timely completion. Reduction in inventory & improvement in turnover ratio. Maintain availability of ROL items for effective MRO activities. Maximize realization of scrap disposal through E-auction. Compliance & conformance to legal & statutory norms.
