Senior Engineer - Procurement Job in Larsen @ Larsen & Toubro

Job Description

Handling end-to-end procurement activity of mechanical items. Responsible for the RFQ process for Mechanical items Responsible for commercial negotiations and contracting with suppliers Effective reporting of the status of procurement activities of relevant categories for a project to enable the identification of delays and potential root causes Provide support to the project in terms of any interventions required while administering supply contracts for relevant categories Conduct regular procurement reviews in order to meet the Project schedule. Developing long-term partnerships with local & foreign suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting service, cost, delivery, and quality norms. Consistently evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material/execution of job works Expediting with the vendor for meeting delivery schedule,
