Job Description

Role: AWS Data Engineer Experience Required: 7+ Years Duration: 6 months Location: 100% Remote Qualifications: 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in consumer finance or equivalent industries Strong background in math, statistics, computer science, or data science Advanced proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, or C# Hands-on experience with HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Oozie/Airflow, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Snowflake Expertise in: Data mining/programming tools (SAS, SQL, R, Python) Databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, Greenplum) Data visualization (Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy) Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences Mandatory Requirements: Experience in AWS Glue Experience in Apache Parquet Proficient in AWS S3 and data lake Knowledge of Snowflake Understanding of file-based ingestion best practices Scripting languages: Python & PySpark,
