Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Senior Backend Developer at Fundtec, you will lead the development and optimization of scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our fintech solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain backend services, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party systems. Key Responsibilities: System Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices using modern technologies and frameworks. Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth functionality. Identify and implement performance improvements. Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical leadership to junior developers. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Fundtec remains at the forefront of innovation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in programming languages like Node.js. Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL). Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills. Ability to design scalable and secure backend solutions. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Other: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of financial technologies or a background in fintech is a plus.
