Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Process Mapping & Analysis: Develop detailed, end-to-end process maps for offshore workflows, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and improvement opportunities in drilling, production, and subsea operations.
Process Improvement Leadership: Drive the design and implementation of optimized workflows, leveraging best practices, automation, and operational benchmarks to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
Digital Transformation: Introduce and integrate advanced digital tools, such as IoT-enabled monitoring, predictive analytics, and process simulation software, to modernize and streamline operations.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all offshore processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, incorporating robust risk mitigation strategies.
Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor performance metrics, operational data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process improvements and identify additional areas for optimization.
Collaboration & Communication: Engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and IT, to ensure alignment of process initiatives with organizational objectives.
Training & Knowledge Sharing: Lead workshops and training sessions for operational teams, promoting adoption of new processes and technologies while building a culture of continuous improvement.
Innovation & Sustainability: Evaluate emerging technologies and sustainable practices, implementing solutions that align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
15+ years of experience in offshore operations, with a focus on process mapping, improvement, and optimization in the Oil & Gas industry.
Expertise in process mapping frameworks such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
Strong understanding of offshore workflows, including drilling, production, subsea systems, and pipeline operations.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in process simulation and optimization tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, OLGA, or equivalent).
Knowledge of IoT platforms, real-time data analytics, and advanced visualization tools for process monitoring.
Certification in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar credentials.
Hands-on experience with FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading units) and subsea processing technologies.
Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and integration of ESG principles into operational processes.
