Job Description

Shacube Marketing is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Team Lead to spearhead our Telecom Telesales team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for leading a team of telesales executives to achieve and exceed sales targets for our telecom products and services. This role demands a strong understanding of sales principles, excellent leadership and coaching abilities, and a proven track record of driving sales performance within the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Performance Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of telesales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
    • Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives for the team.
    • Monitor team performance, track key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, call volumes, average order value), and provide regular feedback.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with the training department to develop and deliver relevant training programs.
    • Foster a positive, competitive, and high-energy team environment.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of our telecom products and services (e.g., broadband, mobile plans, enterprise solutions).
    • Ensure the team adheres to established sales processes and scripts while encouraging innovative sales approaches.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
    • Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends in the telecom sector.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Manage daily team operations, including call monitoring, lead distribution, and reporting.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales activities and customer information in CRM systems.
    • Address and resolve team-related issues and escalate complex matters to the appropriate channels.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports, highlighting team performance against targets.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of success and areas needing improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the sales management team based on team performance and market feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in telesales, preferably within the telecom industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a telesales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team to achieve high performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related tools.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Telugu would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling specific telecom products and services
  • Familiarity with local telecom market dynamics in Hyderabad and Telangana.
  • Experience in conducting sales training and development programs.
