Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Indian CDP for our esteemed client in Kuwait. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. The CDP will manage a specific section of the kitchen such as Tandoor, Curry, and Biryanis and ensure high-quality preparation, presentation, and execution of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.


Job Location - Kuwait


Job Responsibilities:


1. Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes including curries, breads, tandoori items, and regional specialties.
  • Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.

2. Station Management

  • Run a specific kitchen section independently (e.g., Tandoor, Curry, Gravy, South Indian).
  • Ensure mise en place is ready before each service.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

3. Quality Control

  • Monitor food freshness and quality.
  • Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety as per FSSAI standards.
  • Report any non-conformance or issues with ingredients or equipment.

4. Team Support

  • Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members within the section.
  • Support the team in achieving kitchen targets and customer satisfaction.

5. Inventory and Cost Control

  • Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
  • Help in monthly stock-taking and maintaining cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
  • Must possess solid technical knowledge and culinary skills.
  • Capable of preparing reports such as duty rosters, sales reports, and food cost analysis.
  • Should demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Age requirement: below 35 years.
