Job Description
Technical Project Manager
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams consisting of developers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment towards project goals.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and effectively, balancing workload and priorities to optimize project performance.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide regular project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, assessing impacts and implementing appropriate adjustments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management methodologies and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the software development industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
