Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using FastAPI, Celery, and RabbitMQ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery and RabbitMQ.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Optimize performance and scalability of services.
- Write modular, testable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, front-end, and QA.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support production deployments.
- Ensure security, performance, and data protection across services.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Python.
- Proficient in developing APIs using FastAPI (or Flask, Django REST Framework).
- Strong experience with Celery and RabbitMQ for background task processing.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming in Python.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and inter-service communication.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
