- Job Title: Tandoor Commi I Company: The Altruist One Continent Hotel Location: Abids, Hyderabad, Telangana Salary: 20,000 25,000 per month Experience Required: 2 to 4 years Job Type: Full-time Job Summary The Altruist One Continent Hotel in Abids, Hyderabad is seeking an experienced and passionate Tandoor Commi I to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling traditional tandoor equipment, preparing North Indian tandoori dishes, and supporting the culinary team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor items including roti, naan, kebabs, and tandoori vegetables/meats. Ensure timely and quality preparation of food items as per standard recipes. Maintain proper handling and maintenance of the tandoor oven and equipment. Monitor food stock and communicate shortages or maintenance issues to the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with FSSAI and hotel hygiene standards. Assist in mise en place and kitchen operations as needed. Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience working in a hotel or reputed restaurant kitchen as Tandoor Commi. Sound knowledge of tandoor operations and North Indian cuisine. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays.
