As a Commi 2 specializing in Indian and Tandoor cuisine, you will be a junior chef responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Indian dishes, with a specific focus on tandoori items. Your role will involve working with Indian curries, breads, as well as tandoor specialties such as tikka, kebab, and naan. Key duties in this position include preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, serving food in an appealing manner, maintaining cleanliness and organization within your station, and providing assistance to senior chefs as needed. To excel in this role, you must possess skills in tandoor operation, marination techniques, maintaining hygiene standards, working effectively in a team environment, and managing your time efficiently. Previous experience in a similar culinary role and a culinary diploma or training are preferred qualifications for this position.
