Job Description

Job Title: Transformation (TR) Lead
Department: Transformation
Reporting to: Hub Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial Pre-Signing Audits (PSA) of properties to assess the feasibility of transformation and oversee the completion of property transformations according to OYO standards before transitioning them to Operations.
  • Perform comprehensive property checks and accurately complete Audit Sheets, ensuring all details are thoroughly documented and aligned with OYO standards.
  • Expertise in civil engineering specifications, particularly within the hospitality industry.
  • Skilled in creating detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and defining the scope of work for any given property.
  • Communicate the scope of Transformation work (activities, timelines, and cost) effectively to property owners.
  • Ensure transformation execution adheres to guidelines, with timely delivery of quality results.
  • Manage and assess the Time-Around-Turn (TAT) for each transformation activity.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and safety standards for the properties being transformed.
  • Make autonomous, data-driven decisions to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality control.
  • Lead vendor negotiations and manage the procurement of services and materials required for the transformation process.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and address challenges, adopt best practices, and streamline the launch process, fostering positive relationships with all involved parties.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to handle new and complex situations on the fly.
  • Manage resource allocation and plan time-efficient audits across various cities.
  • Provide cost, service, and time estimates for property launches, based on audit findings.
  • Ensure all departments and vendors are aligned with the project schedule and go-live dates.
  • Monitor and report progress on property launches, ensuring deadlines and central processes are adhered to.

People Responsibilities:

  • This role does not involve direct people management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience, ideally in the hospitality or related sectors. Experience in property transformation or renovation is preferred.
  • Education: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Key Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
  • Solid analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and contribute to overall project success.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices.
  • Experience in managing property transformation and renovation projects.
