Job Title: Commis 1 Indian Curry & Tandoori Location: Gir, Gujarat Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Indian Curry and Tandoor section Industry: Hospitality / Culinary / Luxury Private Kitchens Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis 1 Chef with hands-on experience in both Indian Curry and Tandoori preparations. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional Indian spices, cooking techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic Indian curries and Tandoori dishes as per menu standards. Handle marination, tandoor operations, and gravy preparations with consistency. Ensure mise en place is done for both curry and tandoor sections daily. Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in line with FSSAI guidelines. Assist senior chefs in menu planning, portioning, and food presentation. Monitor ingredient stocks and communicate needs to the Chef de Partie. Follow kitchen SOPs, wastage control procedures, and ensure timely service. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience working in Indian Curry and Tandoor sections. Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional tandoor techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail, consistency in food quality, and good work ethics. Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
