Position Title: Partner Onboarding Manager
About the Role
As a Partner Onboarding Manager at Avalara, you will help integrate signed Partners into Avalara s Partner Ecosystem. This includes guiding them through the onboarding process to ensure they achieve partner certification, gain access to Avalara s Partner Portal, complete training, and develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan. Your work will empower partners to quickly gain traction and make the most of their partnership with Avalara. You will report to Director, Business Development, this is Pune based job.
Primary Responsibilities
Project management skills and serve as the primary contact during the onboarding process for signed Partners, ensuring completion of partner certification and successful integration into Avalara s systems and Avalara s Partner Programme.
Facilitate access to Avalara s Partner Portal and guide partners in utilizing its resources effectively.
Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop a detailed sales and marketing plan to support their launch, including identifying early adopters leveraging tools, customer webinars, partner trainings, etc.
Communicate with partners about any remaining certification requirements and support them in addressing these items.
Basic knowledge of Avalara s APIs to answer technical related questions from Partners building a certified integration.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, etc.) to provide partners with the resources needed to succeed.
Track and report on key metrics, including the number of completed launch projects for signed partners.
Key Skills and Qualification
Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrated across various departments and manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Project management: Experienced in handling projects and ensuring all deliverables are met.
Goal-oriented: A mindset, with a specific focus on tracking and achieving launch project goals for each partner.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a customer success, account management, project management or partner onboarding role.
Work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), project management software, and data tracking systems.
Experience in SaaS is preferred
