 Relationship Manager: Banking and PCG Channel

Job Description

  1. The Assistant Manager Sales (Banking & PCG) would have responsibility for promoting and obtaining market share for our products specifically among banking channels.
  2. The MIS would be expected to plan for business development in the target segments mentioned. Special focus will have to be on building relationships with banks.
  3. He/She will constantly review his and his teams sales targets with the Branch Manager Regional Manager & Product Head for corrections, if required.
  4. The sales targets for Manager Sales (Banking & PCG) would focus on new customer acquisition, relationship development with large intermediaries, net accretion to assets under management.
  5. A key focus for him/her will have to be to enthuse and motivate frontline sales staff of large distributors to sell our products.
  6. The Assistant Manager Sales (Banking & PCG) would expect to have a relationship management model for the target segments.
  7. He/She would maintain a database as well as a relationship model, which covers periodic follow-ups as well as tracking of market share. She would be responsible for market share in her segment.
  8. He/ She would ensure that proper follow-ups are maintained with various banks. She would be specifically responsible for training the frontline sales staff of distributors as well as people within our organization, whom he is responsible for. She will play an important role in formulating sales promotions, point of purchase material, and other marketing and sales support activity.
  9. He/ She will have an important role to play in gathering market intelligence for the product development process. She will ensure that all compliance parameters internal and external are met with. She will also ensure that all communication going out from our organisation is compliant with internal and external norms. The Manager - Sales (Banking & PCG) will strive to ensure customer centric orientation among the various team members that she is responsible for.
  10. Any other Job as assigned to her by the management from time to time
