Overview :
Role : US IT Recruiter
Location: T.Nagar, Chennai
Work hours: 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM (IST)
Exp : 5 to 7 Yrs
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven US IT Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in full-cycle recruitment in the US IT staffing industry, with a strong understanding of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), work authorizations (US Citizens, Green Card holders, H1B, OPT, etc.), and experience working with job boards and vendor networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for US-based clients and requisitions.
- Source and screen candidates through various channels (Job Boards, LinkedIn, ATS, referrals, social media, etc.).
- Work on contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time positions.
- Coordinate interviews, negotiate rates/salaries, and follow up with candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
- Maintain candidate and client communication throughout the hiring process.
- Submit qualified candidates to clients and ensure timely feedback.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and maintain database accuracy.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates, vendors, and account managers
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in US IT recruitment.
- Strong understanding of US tax terms, work visa classifications, and employment types.
- Hands-on experience with Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal ATS.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in IT roles.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to work in US time zones.
