Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Project Architect to lead the design and execution of Khimji jewellery stores across Orissa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating brand identity into built environments, ensuring functionality, visual appeal, and cost-effectiveness across all store formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architectural design and planning for new jewellery retail stores and renovations.
• Prepare and review design briefs, concept layouts, working drawings, and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams design, visual merchandising, retail operations, and branding to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate with external consultants (MEP, civil, structural), vendors, and contractors for timely and quality execution.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, materials, finishes, and design guidelines.
• Conduct site visits and surveys; assess space feasibility and recommend design adaptations.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets; monitor project progress and report updates to management.
• Obtain statutory approvals and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Maintain documentation and drawing archives for all completed and ongoing projects.
• Research materials, technology, and trends to innovate design and enhance store experience.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch); a Masters in Architecture or Interior Design is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in retail architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3 D Designing
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Willingness to travel extensively across India for site coordination and supervision.
