Job Description

  • The Stores Assistant is responsible for placing orders
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible for receiving the items from suppliers and check the quantityquality code and expiry date.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible for preparing the Purchase order and GRN.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to enter the issue requisition (MPSR) in the system.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to ensure the clearance from security check for all the received items.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to Prepare Gate Pass for RejectedConsignment and exchanged items.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to ensure submission of monthly statement of Consignmen tConsumabl eLinenHospital waresInstruments and Equipment to the department in-charge.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to check ROL of all items and place the orders.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible for obtaining Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and forward the bills to account dept.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to take care of inter dept material issues of ConsumablesConsignmentPrinting and Stationarysurgical and linen.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to submit monthly reports regarding total purchaseissues and current stock status to the Manager.
  • The Stores Assistant is responsible to ensure proper co-ordination and good relationship with other Department.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the related departmental personnel.
  • Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
  • Numerical Ability: To handle the Medicine as well as the cash and to compare the rates.
  • Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
  • Affinity to work in team.
  • Enthusiasm.
  • Open-mindedness.
