Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Legal Executive will handle litigation-related matters, including drafting legal notices, responding to legal notices, and addressing consumer complaints filed at forums PAN India. They will coordinate with internal teams and external legal representatives to manage case proceedings effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and finalize legal notices, replies, and written statements related to consumer litigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels for vetting and filing court documents.
- Serve as a liaison between internal customer escalation teams and external legal representatives.
- Support external lawyers and authorized representatives by compiling and submitting case-related documents.
- Maintain an up-to-date tracker of legal cases including new, ongoing, and closed matters.
- Monitor and report monthly legal expenses and case progress to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely compliance with court deadlines and documentation requirements
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; LLM is an added advantage.
- 2-5 years of experience in handling litigation, preferably in consumer law or corporate legal departments
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills
- Experience coordinating with external law firms and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal case tracking tools.
