Job Description
-
Install, configure, and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and associated security policies.

Manage day-to-day operations of network security devices and provide Level 2/3 support.

Design and implement secure network architectures in line with business needs.
-
Perform firewall rule configuration, traffic shaping, NAT policies, and VPN setup.
-
Monitor network performance and security using FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and other tools.
-
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues.
-
Maintain and update documentation on network configurations, policies, and procedures.
-
Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and audits.
-
Participate in DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) exercises.
-
Manage IPS/IDS systems, Web Filtering, Antivirus, and Application Control on FortiGate.
-
6-10 years of relevant network and firewall administration experience.
-
Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewall devices.
-
In-depth understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs.
-
Experience in managing FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiClient EMS.
-
Knowledge of IPS/IDS, content filtering, SSL decryption, and security best practices.
-
Familiarity with multi-site networks, high availability (HA) configurations.
-
Fortinet certifications like NSE 4, NSE 5, or above are highly desirable.

Good understanding of ITIL framework and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Experience with other firewall vendors (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point) is a plus.

Exposure to cloud network security (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
