Job Description
- Job Title : QA MANAGER. EXPERIENCE : 10+ Years. Location : Chennai. Mode : Work From Office. NOTICE PERIOD : Immediate to 15 days. Roles And Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality from design to post-production. Perform internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and oversee testing processes, including both automated and manual testing. Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Train staff on quality standards and procedures. Collaborate with vendors and customers to address quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement. Lead efforts to implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Manage test platforms and environments. Design and develop QA load / automation tools and test frameworks. Use Scrum methodology and participate in all phases of the iterative process. Support UAT tests, client demos and sign-off. Job Requirements Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies. Good experience in test case and test plan documentation. Hands-on experience in test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber. Good exposure on Rest and SOAP API. Hands-on experience in web service and API testing using tools like Sandbox, Postman, SoapUI, etc. Strong understanding of JSON, XML, YAML. Experience in working on Task and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, QC, ALM, etc. Good experience in testing SPA, responsive web application, Mobile Apps and cross browser compatibility. Experience in script less/codeless test automation platform like would be a plus. Experience in load testing tools like JMeter, Load Ninja, etc would be a plus. Exposure to security testing and OSWAP standards would be a plus. Should have handled a team of at least 3-5 QA Engineers for min of 2-3 years. Competencies The ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key. Candidates should be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to present to large and small groups. Education & Experience 10 -12 years of relevant work experience supporting largescale IT applications. (ref:hirist.tech),
