Designation : Business Development Head
Experience Range : 12+ years
What is the work?
  • Supervise the continuous development and updates of our pitch materials, ensuring that we possess the most current information and effectively communicate updates and materials to the broader team.
  • Global Strategy Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy, incorporating the use of emerging technologies like GenAI, AI agents, and other advanced sales tools.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts , budgets, and KPIs to track performance and measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Keeping a strong sales pipeline and making accurate predictions
  • Proposal Development: Oversee the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government tenders, projects, and contracts.
  • Finding out loop holes in the current business strategies and suggesting improvements for them
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the international business development strategy aligned with overall company goals.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the international sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and enhance performance.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Oversee contract negotiations and secure significant deals, ensuring favourable terms that maximize company profitability.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company s CRM or other sales management system
  • Freelance Platform Expertise: Lead business development efforts on freelance portals like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, and similar platforms, driving client acquisition and sales growth
  • C-suite Interaction: Engage directly with C-level executives, both internally and externally, to present business development strategies, performance updates, and key insights, ensuring executive alignment with growth initiatives.
  • Consultative Selling: Provide consultative expertise to potential clients on best practices in digital transformation, offering customized solutions based on their specific needs.
  • Client Acquisition: Independently identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the International market for our services.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role focused on international markets.
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving international growth.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Demonstrated ability to enable and guide a team of early & mid-career Sales team members, while leading hands-on with a personal quota.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, driving results through initiative and creativity.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
