Job Description
- As a Finance Intern, you will be an essential part of the India MCAPS finance team, specifically in Business finance- Finance Planning and Analysis. Your role will involve working on various projects that directly influence the business, including constructing financial models and forecasts, analyzing trends, monitoring revenue KPIs, and tracking project expenditures. Your manager will collaborate with you to ensure that your projects align with your interests and developmental goals. You will have the chance to collaborate with the Business Finance Team members to provide recommendations on significant projects. Responsibilities: - Engage in projects that have a direct impact on the business. - Assist in analyzing the current and future financial performance of different products, segments, or business areas. - Support senior team members in conducting analysis and research on financial plans, acquisition activities, and upcoming opportunities. - Aid in the execution of the annual business planning and forecasting process, contributing insights and analysis to support forecast cycles. - Provide insights for financial plans, variance analysis, resource optimization, investments, KPIs, long-range planning, and margin accountability. - Manage processes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. - Aggregate and summarize data through data mining and business intelligence for the creation of reports and financial models. - Utilize statistical analyses, predictive analytics, and financial modeling techniques for sophisticated analyses. - Act as a subject matter expert on data management and operations. - Communicate results in a clear and logical manner, both on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. - Embrace and embody the company's culture and values. Qualifications: Capabilities & Skills: - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Strong analytical abilities for generating intelligent insights. - Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of detailed information. - Tech-savvy with the ability to leverage tools for automating reports and models. Required/Minimum Qualifications: - Completion of CA Intermediate. - 12-18 months of articleship period remaining to be completed. Additional or Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in MS Office suite and Power BI.
