As a PHP Developer at MetaBlock, your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications using PHP to ensure high performance, scalability, and security. You will be expected to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that aligns with industry best practices. Collaboration with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic will be essential. Additionally, you will design and implement database schemas to uphold data integrity and optimize performance. Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality are also crucial aspects of the role. Furthermore, you will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, spanning requirement analysis, design, development, and deployment. Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and integrating them into projects when relevant is encouraged. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as a PHP Developer and a robust portfolio of web applications. Proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP), is essential, as is experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. A strong grasp of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX is required. Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization, is expected, as well as knowledge of version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be beneficial in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla, knowledge of RESTful APIs, integration with third-party services, and an understanding of security best practices. Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, DevOps tools, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies are advantageous. This position is available as both full-time and internship opportunities, with a contract length of 3 months. The work location is in person, providing a collaborative and engaging environment for professional growth and development.,
