Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at our client's organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and desktop platforms. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure robust test coverage, identifying and tracking defects, and integrating automation testing solutions with CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing test automation frameworks to uphold consistent quality and performance standards. Additionally, providing regular status reports and insights on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks will be a key part of your role. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in automation testing within an Agile environment. Proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver and programming languages such as Java or Python is essential. A solid understanding of test frameworks like JUnit and TestNG, as well as automation architecture, will be valuable assets. Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines is also a must-have skill. While not mandatory, familiarity with additional automation tools like Appium, Cucumber, and API testing frameworks is preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with experience working on-site and cross-functionally, will be beneficial in this role.
