Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Acquire and manage tour guides and tour operators, help them create compelling tour listings, optimize pricing, and drive bookings while maintaining quality standards and building long-term partnerships. 

  • Manage and grow OTA partner portfolios (e.g., hotels, tours, experiences) 
  • Drive bookings and revenue by optimizing partner listings and relationships 
  • Onboard new service providers to OTA platforms 
  • Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure satisfaction and performance 
  • Implement pricing and promotional strategies 
  • Track sales targets and provide monthly reports 
  • Ensure confidentiality of seller information; take full responsibility for any damage caused to sellers/partners/users or Soctrip 
  • Do not use personal contact information (including phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, messaging apps, etc.) to communicate with sellers/partners/users. Only use company-approved contact details for sellers/partners/users communication and support during your employment with Soctrip and Hahalolo 

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, or any field 
  • Experience: 2-5 years in tourism industry/tour operations 
  • Technical Skills:  
  1. Understanding of tour guide licensing and regulations 
  2. Knowledge of popular tourist circuits and destinations 
  3. Basic understanding of tour costing and pricing 
  4. Familiarity with online booking platforms 

Key Competencies:

Individual Tour Guide Management:

  • Identifying and recruiting quality guides 
  • Helping guides create attractive tour descriptions 
  • Training on platform usage and best practices 
  • Pricing optimization (500-5000 per tour range) 
  • Review and rating management 

Tour Agency Management:

  • B2B relationship building 
  • Package tour development 
  • Group booking management 
  • API integration support 
  • Volume-based pricing negotiations 

Performance Metrics:

  • Monthly guide/operator onboarding: 20-25 per person 
  • Portfolio GMV contribution: $750K+ monthly 
  • Active tour listings: 100+ per account manager 
  • Partner satisfaction: 4.5+/5 
  • Booking conversion rate: 10%+
