Job Description
- As a Snowflake Developer with Oracle Golden Gate/Data Engineer at Oracle FSGIU - Finergy, you will be part of the dedicated division focused on the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. Your role involves utilizing your expertise to address the complex financial needs of clients and contribute to the development of end-to-end banking solutions. By leveraging industry knowledge and proven methodologies, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring technology aligns with the business goals of our clients. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable Snowflake data models using best practices, such as the Snowflake Data Vault methodology. You will also be responsible for managing real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate, optimizing Snowpipe for automated data ingestion, and working with AWS services like S3, EC2, and Lambda to integrate and manage Snowflake-based solutions. Additionally, you will implement data sharing mechanisms like SnowShare, enforce security measures, develop CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain detailed documentation for data architecture and ETL processes. The mandatory skills for this role include having at least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and query optimization, proficiency in SQL, hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data, knowledge of Snowpipe, familiarity with AWS cloud services, experience with CI/CD tools, and working knowledge of Snowflake Data Vault methodology. Good to have skills include exposure to Databricks, knowledge of Python or Scala, familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation, experience in data governance and compliance best practices, and understanding of ML and AI integration with data pipelines. In this role, you will have the opportunity to test your skills by designing and optimizing Snowflake data models, setting up and managing real-time data replication, working with Snowpipe for data ingestion, writing optimized queries in Snowflake, integrating Snowflake with AWS cloud services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting performance issues, and documenting data engineering processes.
