Electrical Engineer Trainee (location Surat) @ Infosys

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Fresher to join our engineering team in Surat, Gujarat. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates looking to kickstart their engineering career and grow within our dynamic organization. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components. You will support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, schematics, and documentation. Additionally, you will participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project teams, will be a key aspect of the role. It is essential to maintain accurate records of technical data and reports while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and tools. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech). - Strong theoretical knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and electronics. - Basic understanding of AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar design and simulation tools. - Familiarity with electrical safety standards and codes is a plus. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: - Internship or academic project experience in electrical design or maintenance. - Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, or microcontroller-based systems. - Exposure to renewable energy systems, power electronics, or industrial automation.
