Job Description
- Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking highly motivated embedded software engineers to join the Qualcomm Location Technology team. As a part of the team, you will be involved in designing and deploying location solutions for wireless platforms of the future. Qualcomm is a global leader in supplying embedded systems for cellular wireless standards, delivering optimized wireless platforms to major OEMs across various market segments. To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 1-3 years of Software Engineering experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., is required for this position. As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, maintenance, and optimization of real-time embedded location software. Collaborating with other software, systems, hardware, and test engineers, you will integrate GNSS, wireless technologies, and MEMS sensors to create cutting-edge location solutions. Ideal candidates should possess strong software engineering skills, a solid understanding of communication signal processing, and a passion for efficient and scalable software development. Experience in designing, developing, and debugging medium to large-scale real-time systems is essential. Proficiency in C programming, real-time OS knowledge, and adherence to good software development processes are key requirements for this role. Knowledge of Perl, Python, Matlab, or other scripting languages is advantageous. Candidates should be team players with the ability to contribute to system design, software development methodology, and software architecture discussions.
