Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Digital Leader with approximately 6-8 years of experience to spearhead various Digital initiatives at AB Renewables. You will be responsible for delivering diverse projects and solutions aimed at enhancing business outcomes, such as increased power generation, improved power generation prediction, reduced losses, construction monitoring, performance monitoring, and enhanced productivity of both internal and external staff. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies in the AI/ML domain, Analytics, and Robotics Process Automation will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will utilize Digital Technologies to optimize environmental impact and support ESG goals, collaborating closely with the Engineering and Innovation Departments to drive and execute projects. Your role will require you to demonstrate innovation by thinking outside the box and leveraging technology to challenge the status quo. Building prototypes and proof of concepts swiftly, as well as developing solutions, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will function as a team player, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Information Technology (ERP Systems), Engineering/Technology, Innovation Department, Power Generation Department, Innovation Cell of the AB Group, and Central Analytics team. Additionally, you will collaborate with the cyber security team to align project goals within the cybersecurity framework. As a Digital Leader, you should possess expertise in AI/ML and Algorithmic models, IoT, Cloud computing, Data Analytics, and various platforms available in the cloud. Being hands-on with these technical skills is essential for success in this role. The job context entails facing challenges within the growing Renewal business, which has ambitious plans for expansion. Key challenges include managing trade-offs between long-term impact technologies and short-term solutions, as well as calibrating solutions for existing assets with digital infrastructure ranging from 1 to 10 years old. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop a project roadmap by collaborating with various departments and building a Digital roadmap of ideas and projects using Digital Technologies. 2. Execute projects by developing POCs, gaining buy-in from Business leaders, and completing Digital projects with an internal and external team within set timelines and costs. 3. Continually improve by scaling solutions in line with the company's growth and scouting new digital solutions deployed by peers or in other industries. 4. Build capabilities by creating a repository of digital case studies across the business and deploying tools/training to relevant personnel. Relationships: Internal: - Work closely with business owners to understand problems and define success criteria. - Collaborate with technical experts from various business functions to document project objectives, scope, feasibility, and progress updates. - Engage with the ABG IT team to learn, adopt, and share best practices, as well as address infrastructure requirements and support. External: - Collaborate with Technology Partners to stay updated on new technology trends.
