Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems, starting from the initial requirements phase all the way to production and commercial deployment. Your role will involve developing, coding, testing, and debugging system software. You will also have the opportunity to review code and design, aiming to enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources. In addition, you will be expected to integrate and validate new product designs, provide support for software quality assurance, and optimize I/O performance. Collaboration with hardware design and development teams will be essential. Furthermore, you will need to assess third-party and open-source software solutions to identify potential integration opportunities. To excel in this role, you should have proven working experience in embedded software engineering, ideally ranging from 1 to 2 years. A Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required. A Master's degree in Embedded Systems or a related field is preferred. Hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting on embedded targets is necessary, along with solid programming skills in C or C++. Your expertise should also include working with various microcontroller architectures such as ARM, 8051, etc., and familiarity with protocols like I2C, SPI, USB, RS232, RS485, among others. Proficiency in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems is crucial. Moreover, you should be acquainted with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes. Strong documentation and writing skills will be beneficial, as well as the ability to read schematics and data sheets for components. This is a full-time position requiring a Diploma qualification, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in embedded software development.,
