Senior Web Developer Oracle Field Service @ Apvision Technologies

Job Description

As a Senior Web Developer at NCR Atleos, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust web applications and plugins that seamlessly integrate with Oracle Field Service Cloud. Your primary responsibilities will involve creating scalable web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript, as well as maintaining and enhancing Oracle Field Service Cloud plugins and extensions. Collaboration with UX/UI designers to transform design mockups into responsive and interactive web interfaces will be a key aspect of your role. In this position, you will be responsible for writing unit and integration tests to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the code. Additionally, you will be tasked with debugging and resolving issues in existing applications and plugins, as well as integrating third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of the applications. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while adhering to software development best practices. Maintaining documentation for code, processes, and best practices will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is essential, along with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Oracle Field Service Cloud plugins is highly desirable. Moreover, familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, web services integration, debugging tools, and performance optimization techniques is important. A solid grasp of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code reviews, and agile methodologies, is required.
