Job Description

    At QpiAI, we are at the forefront of the effort to discover the most optimal AI and Quantum systems across various industries such as Life sciences, Healthcare, Transportation, Finance, Industrial, and Space technologies. Our team at QpiAI is dedicated to building full-stack Enterprise Quantum Computers. As a part of the QpiAI Quantum hardware team, you will be responsible for the design and characterization of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware, and QpiAI ASGP. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated quantum physicist to join our innovative research and development team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in quantum measurements, electrical engineering, and materials science, with a specific emphasis on the characterization of quantum devices. This role will involve designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments aimed at characterizing the performance of superconducting quantum devices, particularly qubits. Requirements: - Hold an MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field focusing on quantum mechanics or quantum technology. - Have experience in designing and executing experimental setups, as well as conducting quantum measurements using qubits. - Develop and implement experimental protocols for measuring device parameters like coherence times, gate fidelities, and quantum state and process tomography. - Possess a strong skill set, including expertise in cryogenic systems and microwave electronics for the characterization of superconducting qubit devices (a plus). - Demonstrate a solid understanding of circuit QED. - Familiarity with error-correction schemes, particularly in superconducting qubits (a plus). - Proven track record of successful projects involving superconducting materials and devices. - Maintain and optimize cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate measurements. - Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools. - Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference presentations in the field of quantum technology are advantageous. - Experience in designing experiments and writing analysis reports. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
