Software Developer with Qt Expertise @ Tredence

Job Description

As a skilled software developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cross-platform applications utilizing the QT Framework. Your role will involve close collaboration with hardware and embedded systems teams to ensure smooth integration. You will focus on creating user-friendly UI/UX designs and implementing them effectively. Additionally, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining existing software will be part of your daily tasks. Working closely with project managers, you will assist in defining requirements, deliverables, and timelines. Staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in QT development is essential to excel in this role. You should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in software development using the QT Framework is required. Proficiency in C++ and QML, strong knowledge of GUI development and multithreading, as well as experience in cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, MacOS) are crucial. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, a solid grasp of design patterns and software development principles, and excellent problem-solving skills are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include experience with embedded systems or IoT applications, familiarity with other programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, knowledge of rendering libraries like OpenGL, and an understanding of network communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP). Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira is a plus. This is a full-time position with day shift hours and fixed shifts. The role offers performance and yearly bonuses. The work location is in person at Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before the expected start date.
