The Lead Engineer position at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for serving as the senior developer and automation tester in the local team, utilizing technical expertise to develop products. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is part of the Lab Automation, Instrument R&D Team in Bengaluru, and it is an on-site position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Act as the Technical Senior Developer and Requirement Tester in your local team, collaborating closely with the DxA Software Development Team in Munich, Germany, the ICE Development Team in IDC, and the DxA Verification Team in IDC. - Support teammates with technical expertise as needed. - Implement requested functionality using SW Design and requirement specifications provided by Architects. - Uphold the code of conduct for developers and lead teammates by example to the highest quality standards. - Engage with a global ecosystem of peers and partners to achieve objectives. - Stay informed about emerging trends and technological changes. - Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and company policies and procedures. The essential requirements for this job include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. - 8-12 years of technical experience in multi-disciplined projects and Agile software development, with a strong knowledge of C# .NET and main principles of .NET Framework/.NET Core. - Proficiency in automated testing, building and extending automation frameworks, experience in requirement spec testing, continuous integration principles, design patterns, SQL server, relational databases, and some GUI development experience. - Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and low-level instrument and robot-related design and work. - Strong teamwork skills to collaborate across teams and mentor junior members. Previous experience in medical device development and familiarity with standards like ISO13845 and ISO62304 would be advantageous.
