Greetings from Teknikoz! We are looking for a candidate with 4-8 years of experience in the Telecom Industry to join our team in Yangon, Myanmar. As an Automation Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing using modern automation tools and practices. Your key accountabilities will include developing reusable and modular automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, collaborating with QA leads and manual testers to identify automation candidates, integrating automated test suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and maintaining automation frameworks while contributing to script optimization. You will also be responsible for executing automated regression suites, analyzing failures, supporting API and UI automation efforts, and owning regression suite design, execution, and sign-off for production releases. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field, along with 4-8 years of experience in test automation. Possessing certifications like ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent will be valuable. You should also have experience in automation strategy and implementation using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, integration with CI/CD pipelines, testing applications on cloud platforms, and contributing to DevOps workflows. Additionally, familiarity with TDD, performance testing tools, security testing best practices, API testing tools, Git/Jenkins, test management tools like JIRA, and telecom BSS testing environments will be advantageous.
