Job Description
- We are looking for a Software Tester capable of designing test suites and having the ability to understand usability issues. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing testing scenarios for usability testing, which involves performing both automated and manual tests to ensure that the software developed by our team of developers is fit for its intended purpose. Your primary role will be to engage in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment, making it essential for you to possess a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Required Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in programming languages like PHP. - Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect life cycle. - Testing the product or system to ensure proper functionality and alignment with business requirements. - Experience in designing test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on provided requirements. - Proficiency in end-to-end application testing, including requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing, and defect management. - Familiarity with working in an Agile Scrum model. - Experience in Web Service Testing & Mobile App Testing. - Monitoring bug resolution efforts and tracking successes. - Planning test schedules or strategies in alignment with project scope or delivery dates. - Strong Analytical Skills. - Collaborating with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version management. - Setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing them. - Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risks, and reporting them to the relevant stakeholders. - Tracking and logging defects during execution. - Basic knowledge of API automation using tools like SoapUI, POSTMAN. Experience in Rest-assured will be an added advantage.
