What does a successful Asst Manager/Supervisor Logistics do?

At Fiserv, a successful Asst Manager/Supervisor Logistics is a meticulous and strategic professional who excels in managing and optimizing various logistics functions, including procurement planning, inventory control, repair coordination, FSD operation support, and both forward and reverse logistics operations. Our ideal candidate ensures smooth and efficient supply chain operations in alignment with business objectives.


What you will do:


  • Gather and analyze demand forecasts to support business projections and procurement planning.
  • Liaise with vendors for material availability, purchase orders, confirmations, and delivery schedules.
  • Track market trends to provide cost-effective purchasing recommendations.
  • Monitor daily inventory movements, update records, and coordinate internal transfers.
  • Conduct stock audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and report non-moving, excess, or obsolete stock.
  • Manage POS machine repairs and coordinate with OEM/service partners, emphasizing cost efficiency.
  • Maintain tracking records for repaired POS devices and prepare quality control reports post-repair.
  • Track performance metrics from FSD partners and document deviations in stock management.
  • Support shipment planning, route allocation, and courier coordination.
  • Manage documentation for customer returns, damaged assets, replacements, and asset disposals.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for operational requirements and identify logistics optimization measures.

What you will need to have:


  • 10+ years of experience using logistics and inventory management tools and software.
  • 10+ years of experience in optimizing logistics processes and identifying operational bottlenecks.
  • 10+ years of experience with performance tracking and reporting for logistics partners.
  • 10+ years of experience in handling forward and reverse logistics operations.
  • 10+ years of experience in cross-functional coordination with various stakeholders.
