Job Description
- We are seeking Cabin Design Engineers with Aero Seating Experience having 8-12 years of experience for our esteemed client in Bangalore. Freshers are requested to excuse themselves from applying if they do not meet the minimum experience criteria. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in Catia V5, Aero Interiors Design, Assembly design, Surface design, Drafting and Sheetmetal Modules, Part Design, A/C Seating and interiors, Galley, and Composites. This is an urgent requirement, and candidates who can join within 20 days or near to 20 days are encouraged to apply. As a Cabin Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards. You will undertake the design of Structural parts, Composites, Sheet metal, and plastics parts related to galley design. Additionally, creating trolleys design and Inserts (Oven, Beverage Maker etc.) used in Galleys, drafting, and implementing changes arising from production with quick turnaround time, maintaining specifications, drawings, and technical manuals, troubleshooting design-related issues, and staying updated with industry trends and new technologies for implementing new designs. The ideal candidate should have experience in Catia V5 with proficiency in part design, surface, sheet metal, drafting & assembly workbenches. Experience in Structural parts, Composites, Sheet metal, and plastics parts with respect to galley design, knowledge on trim and finishes, trolleys design, and Inserts used in Galleys are essential. Basic knowledge of plumbing design and electrical harness, hands-on experience with ECR and Change Order process, expertise in drafting and implementing changes arising from production, experience with PLM tools preferably SmarTeam, and being well-versed in Domain - seats /cabins are required. Expertise in Catia V5 Kinematics, Plumbing, Harness design, and Cabin/Galley Design within the domain of Aircraft interiors - Seats & Cabins are also necessary. Working with our client based in Bangalore, you will be part of a company that specializes in aerospace and ground transport industries, offering expertise and project management in domains like electrical systems, aerostructures, mechanical, software, and systems engineering.
