About The Opportunity- HV Cable Engineer Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently. Delivering Drawings to desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client. Able to communicate in confidence with client or Foreign counterpart. Working in team to deliver projects on time. Attending meetings with technical leads. Design (Concept, FEED, and detail design) of T & D systems upto 400kV for Utility companies based on International standards for Middle east, UK, Australia & US regions. Performs Primary Design activities viz. Key SLDs, AC/DC SLDs, equipment layouts etc. Applies broad practical knowledge to cable design & produces Cable routing layouts for outdoor switchyard/ indoor substation/ Transmission system, trench/tray layouts, cable bonding, termination, and installation drawings (Should be able to give inputs to technicians & should be able to review from technical/quality perspective.) Performs cable sizing calculations based on international standards. Hands on experience on using CYMCAP software. Ability to carry out inter- disciplinary coordination. Resolve any design issues & coordinate effectively with leads Plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members all design aspects of the project. Here's what you'll need About You BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical Minimum 4-10 years of experience in primary and cable design (AIS & GIS Substation experience up to 400kV is desirable.)
