Position- HR Manager

Company- Suyog Computech Pvt Ltd

Experience- 5-7 yrs in HR operations & recruitment, 2 yrs specifically in IT sector

Job Type- Full time, work from office

Location- Patia, Bhubaneswar

Salary- As per Industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (70%):

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
  • Draft and post job advertisements across relevant platforms and job boards.
  • Source and screen candidates through resumes, interviews, and assessments.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring panels.
  • Conduct reference checks, background verifications, and salary negotiations.
  • Manage the on boarding process, including document collection, induction, and orientation.
  • Maintain and update recruitment metrics and reports.

HR General Operations (30%):

  • Maintain employee records and ensure the HR database is up to date.
  • Prepare monthly attendance for payroll.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • New employee orientation, training and development.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communication.
  • Address day-to-day employee queries related to HR policies, leaves, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
  • Support performance management processes and employee training initiatives.
  • Develop and coordinate grievances and mediate workplace disputes.
  • Manage the performance management process, including conducting performance evaluations and facilitating feedback mechanisms.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, track key metrics, and inform decision-making.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR related KPIs.
  • Facilitate smooth off boarding of employees Full and Final letters.
  • Handle employee relations and HR matters including counselling in accordance with HR procedures, legal regulations including conflict resolution, progressive discipline and terminations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or any related field.
  • Having more than 6 years of experience in HR generalist roles with a record of accomplishment of progressive HR responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR Principles, practices and employment laws.
  • Experience with HRIS/HRMS, payrolls software or systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
