Job Description

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of 60-90 professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Manage recruitment, training, and development of team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching and mentoring to staff.

2. Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee banking and financial operations, including reconciliation, retail loans, commercial loans, and mortgage processes.
    • Ensure operations are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

3. Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of banking and financial services initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities for differentiation and value addition within the operations.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
    • Implement risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
    • Maintain robust documentation and reporting systems to ensure transparency and accountability.

5. Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
    • Leverage technology and innovation to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep operations current and competitive.
